Schoolers Snap · Dressage Online
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 14 July 2026
Schoolers Snap is a free arena-letters training game operated by Dressage Online
(dressage-online.com). By playing the game,
creating an account, or entering a prize campaign, you agree to these terms.
1. Playing the game
- The game is free to play. No purchase is ever required to play, rank, or win a prize.
- You can play as a guest without an account, but guest rides are not ranked and are not eligible for prizes.
2. Accounts and rider names
- To appear on the leaderboard you must sign up with a valid email address. We email you a secure sign-in link — there are no passwords.
- You choose a rider name (and optionally a club) that appears publicly on the leaderboard. Rider names are unique: the first account to save a name owns it.
- Rider names must not be offensive, misleading, or impersonate another person. We may remove or rename entries that break this rule.
- One account per person. Accounts are for individual, personal use.
3. How the leaderboard works
- Each rider appears on the leaderboard once, at the level of their most recent competent ride — a ride at 50% accuracy or better. Riding a new level competently moves your placement there, whether that's up or down.
- Your entry shows your best score at that level, along with the date you last rode.
- The leaderboard ranks by level first, then score — riders at a higher level rank above riders at a lower level regardless of raw score.
- There are two boards: an all-time board and a board for the current calendar month.
- Scores are recorded automatically for signed-in riders at the end of each completed ride.
4. Prizes and campaigns
- From time to time we run prize campaigns. Each campaign's dates, divisions, prizes, and winning criteria are announced on the Dressage Online social media pages — check there for the details of any current campaign.
- Campaigns may run over different periods (for example a month, or longer or shorter) and may reward different things — such as division leaders, most-improved riders, or random draws among active riders.
- Only signed-in riders are eligible for prizes. We contact winners using their account email address, so make sure it's one you check.
- If a winner does not respond within 14 days of being contacted, we may award the prize to another eligible rider.
- Prizes are as described in the campaign announcement, are not transferable, and no cash alternative is offered unless we say otherwise.
- Shipping of prizes is detailed on a campaign-by-campaign basis in the campaign announcement. Physical prizes may be restricted to winners with a delivery address in New Zealand or Australasia — where that's the case, the campaign announcement will say so, and riders outside the eligible region may be offered an alternative prize or the prize may pass to the next eligible rider.
- We review results before awarding prizes and may exclude entries we reasonably believe are unfair — for example scores achieved through cheating, automation, multiple accounts, or deliberately riding far below one's demonstrated level to target a lower division's prize.
- Our decisions on campaign results and prizes are final.
5. Fair play
- Play the game as a human, in the game itself. Scripts, bots, automation, exploiting bugs, or tampering with score submissions are not allowed.
- We may remove scores, suspend accounts, or disqualify riders from campaigns for breaches of these terms.
6. Your email and privacy
- We use your email address to sign you in, to contact you if you win a prize, and — if you joined our mailing list — to send occasional updates from Dressage Online. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time; this does not affect your account.
- Your email address is never shown publicly. Only your chosen rider name, club, level, score, and last-ride date appear on the leaderboard.
- We don't sell or share your personal information with third parties, other than the service providers we use to run the game (hosting and email delivery).
- To have your account and scores removed, contact us via the Dressage Online website or social media pages.
7. General
- The game is provided as-is, for fun and training. We may change levels, scoring, or leaderboard rules, or pause or discontinue the game, at any time. Where a change affects a live prize campaign, we'll say so on our social media pages.
- We may update these terms from time to time; the latest version always lives on this page. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
- These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
